We're a small business located in the mountains of Western North Carolina built around something simple: the excitement of a genuine surprise and the fun of sharing that experience with a community.
We know there are many places to buy mystery boxes, and we truly appreciate every customer who chooses to give Unbox the Chaos a try.
For us, this is about more than putting a box in the mail. We want opening a Chaos box to be an experience — from choosing your level of Chaos, to joining us during a live packing event, to finally opening your box and discovering what surprises are waiting inside.
The philosophy
Why we don't curate individual boxes
The answer is simple: we want the mystery to be genuine.
We do not build boxes around individual customer requests, wish lists, favorite categories, or specific product preferences.
When we pack a Chaos box, the goal is to preserve the excitement and unpredictability of the mystery experience.

- Some may make you laugh and ask, "What in the world is this?" 😂
That's the Chaos — and we believe that unpredictability is what makes opening mystery packages so much fun.

We will continue searching for interesting mystery inventory, packing boxes as full as reasonably possible based on the size and shape of available packages, and listening to customer feedback.

Mystery means mystery. Every shipment is different, and every box can be different. We do not guarantee specific products, brands, categories, quantities, retail values, resale values, or profits unless expressly stated in writing as part of a specific promotion.
